Welcome to Management Standards of Dallas

           Thank you for visiting.

Research tells us that almost all managers will admit that they were never actually taught how to manage. One day, they just became a manager or supervisor and immediately went from wondering, "what is going on around here?" to the person who was supposed to have all the answers. That means that not only were they expected to know how to perform all of the activities you see to your left, plus the functions and skills, as seen on the right, but they had to know when to apply each of these tools - expertly! That is a serious expectation. No wonder more than 99% of all employees say that they either have worked for, or currently work for, a "bad" manager!

Some help has always been available. Larger corporations offer internal supervisory and management courses, and sometimes approve external courses. Other Individuals are left to attend external training courses. But, in both cases, how does one know which courses to attend, and when? Most often, the commitment to learning how to manage properly is measured in terms of years, and can easily cost tens of thousands of dollars. Even managers who have attended dozens of courses can have gaping holes in their management capabilities.

Each year sees more and more new and trendy courses promoted as the ones you must attend, leaving managers who have not yet mastered the basics (the "standards") poorly equipped to handle the day-to-day pressures of their jobs. Their unfortunate and unnecessary failure leads directly to employee turnover, with replacement costs currently running anywhere from 90% to 150% of each replacement employee's salary! With so much focus on the "bottom-line" these days, turnover costs this high are simply unacceptable.

Management Standards helps your managers, supervisors and sales personnel manage better - properly, quickly, and affordably.  We teach your employees what to do, when and how to do it!. We offer on-site courses, customized courses, public courses, and a variety of products designed with your budget in mind.

Please spend a few minutes looking at what is available, and then contact us. Help is on the way!
